3. Gear Pumps
A gear pump is a rotary positive displacement pump which unlike centrifugal pumps moves the fluids at the same rate irrespective of the pressure at the inlet. While centrifugal pumps fail at pumping high viscosity fluids, gear pumps comfortably pump and move them efficiently.
